Blooms of Natural Beauty

I began gardening after I sold my hair salon in 2007. I needed an outlet and I knew being outside brought me joy so I began planting flowers and building flower beds around our house in town. When we moved out of town and back out to our farm house, I knew I had to get started building new flower beds. But this time I had even more space to build them, which meant more room for creativity in the garden!

In 2022, I began taking flowers to nursing homes and giving arrangements as gifts just to brighten people’s day. Last summer people kept telling me to go to the farmers market and sell my flowers. Ultimately, I discovered that wasn’t really my thing. I found that I prefer to have people come out to the farm, or deliver the flowers myself. Then in the winter of 2022 I got asked to do some bouquets for a wedding. That was really fun and felt like such an honor! The following summer I was entered into a drawing for a chance to win a course at Floret’s Flower Farming and I won! That course is what really lit my fire! So I began learning all I could about the flower farming business.

It’s now 2024 and this is my first official year to be open as a true flower farm. I am still learning all I can, and would like to do different community events. Events where people can come make their own arrangements and crafts to take home. We will be open for some “pick your own” days, and other occasions to build community here at Link Flower Farm.

I am very excited to see where this passion of mine will lead, and I can’t wait to hear about all of your flower needs and try to meet them as best I can!
